1.  We had to change the Emergency Alert tone on the 146.980 Repeater from 107.2 to 162.2, this was due to interferance on 107.2 Hz.  All future Emergency Alerts will use 162.2 Hz, NOTE this is ONLY used for Alerting purposes, all normal and emergency operations will contiue to use 100.0 for repeater operations.

2.  Work has begin on adding a 2 meter repeater that will be linked to the Buck 146.980 repeater to provide improved coverage in the Alamogordo area.  This new repeater will be located at Alamo Peak the existing site used by the Sacramento Mountains club repeater on 147.220 / 100.0 repeater that is now linked to the James Ridge 147.340 / 100.0 repeater.  The new repeater was to be on 145.31, but the coordination showed another 145 Mhz frequency, so I will verify with the coordinator the correct frequency to be used.  Work on this repeater has been delayed with the Buck Antenna project, so this will be delayed until the main antenna is back in service on Buck.

3.  There may be a crossover link between the two Alamo Peak repeaters later on, this will allow the Sacremento Club repeaters located at James Ridge, Alamo Peak and Weed to be linked during emergency events to the Buck and Alamo Peak repeaters, but this will not be very soon and may be added later on when we complete the updates to the clubs system this next year.
