Welcome!

Welcome to the Sierra Blanca Amateur Radio Club website! SBARC is an organization of amateur radio operators based in Ruidoso, New Mexico, which is located in the Sacramento Mountains in the south-central part of the state.

In addition to conducting regular general meetings and a weekly breakfast gathering, we provide radio communications support during local emergencies, such as search and rescue missions and wildfires, as well as for various public service events in Lincoln County, NM. The club also sponsors an open VHF repeater that enjoys popular use by our members and visiting hams.

Whether you are new to amateur radio or an experienced ham, an existing member or someone who is interested in joining our organization, we hope you find this website useful. Enjoy, and please don't hesitate to contact us with your comments or questions!
